Resilience–the ability to meet challenges and come back from setbacks–is getting ever more attention. No wonder. On top of realities like climate change, we are being asked to adjust to new technologies and social changes on a scale comparable to the Industrial Revolution, and all in less than a generation. (The upheavals of the Industrial Revolution were spread out over about three generations.)
The good news is that we can learn a variety of methods for dealing with the stresses, thereby building resilience and enabling us to use our energies more efficiently to achieve greater results with less effort.
My resilience@work program focuses in particular on three elements:
- The power of thoughts
- The power of attention
- The power of relaxation
Key projects:
- Stress management and responsiveness building for IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) inspectors in the field
- Resilience building course in the “soft skills” catalogue of a Fortune 500 company
- Stress management and resilience building for educators
